LashMap ("we", "our", "LashMap") is an AI-powered lash mapping and client management platform for lash artists. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LashMap, you agree to this policy.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and hashed password. If you join as a founding member, we also store your beta access code and member tier.
Business information. We store your studio name, profile photo, notification preferences, message templates, retention window settings, and any other configuration you provide in Settings.
Client information you provide. LashMap is a tool for lash artists to manage their own clients. You (the artist) may add client records containing names, phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, notes, intake responses, and photos you upload. You are the data controller for your clients' information. LashMap processes it on your behalf.
Session data.When you upload a client photo for analysis, we temporarily process the image to detect facial landmarks and measure eye dimensions. The image is stored so you can view it later in the client's session history. You can delete any session at any time.
Usage and interaction data. We collect data about how you use the app (screens visited, features used, session counts) to improve the product. We also log your conversations with Iris, our AI consultant, to make future recommendations better.
Payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. LashMap never sees or stores your full credit card number. We only receive a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and the tier you subscribed to.
Cookies and technical data. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
LashMap uses Claude (Anthropic) to power Iris, our AI lash consultant. When you ask Iris a question, your message, the current client's measurements, and recent session history are sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Anthropic does not use LashMap customer data to train their models.
LashMap may use anonymized and aggregated session data (measurements, style selections, feedback) to improve our own recommendation models in the future. We will never use identifiable client information for model training without your consent.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days of your request, except where we are legally required to retain it (for example, tax and billing records).
You can delete individual client records, sessions, and messages at any time from within the app. Deleted data is removed immediately from your account view and permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

LashMap is based in the United States. If you use the platform from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using LashMap, you consent to this transfer.
LashMap is intended for lash professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification before they take effect.
